We recently returned from the Southeast region's conference on vocational rehabilitation. We met with a number of program administrators and vocational rehabilitation counselors. Virtually none of them were aware of the fact that Gatlin Education Services provides on-line career programs to their local community colleges and university.
Many vocational rehab counselors expressed great enthusiasm about the wide variety of courses offered by Gatlin and how affordable the courses are vs. what private career colleges charge for similar courses. We think people also were really appreciative of the fact that Gatlin's courses did not require the student to be "accepted" by the college since they are offered through the continuing education departments.
If you manage the Gatlin program for your institution, we highly recommend contacting your nearest vocational rehab office and take the time to educate them about the Gatlin courses you offer.
