In February 2004, the United States department of labor released projections for the growth of in-demand careers and the training required for those careers. To view their projections click here. As you can see, the demand for continuing education continues to grow.
Approximately half of the fastest growing careers listed require two years of college or less. Six of the fastest growing career fields are medical related. Most of these careers require continuing education training. With the support of companies like Gatlin Education Services, many local Universities and Community Colleges now offer courses that in the past were only available from Career Colleges. Now you can take high quality career courses on-line from a local educational institution near you. We will review some of the in-demand career fields in our future posts.
